Meet our Owner/Operator

Philip Hassler

Our Operator grew up in Arlington, TX. Philip has been involved with Chick-fil-A since he was 8 years old. He spent many a Saturday and weekday afternoon breading chicken, providing samples to customers while decked out in various Chick-fil-A costumes, and his favorite…working the drive thru.

Philip graduated from Baylor University where he met his wife, Sara. They have two amazing kids who look forward to officially working at the store when they come of age. Philip and his family moved back to Texas in the summer of 2013 when Philip served as owner / operator of the Chick-fil-A in The Parks Mall of Arlington. From the Mall in Arlington, Philip and his family moved to the North Side of the Metroplex as they opened the Chick-fil-A CityLine location in March of 2017. What a complete joy it is to be a part of such a vibrant and growing community.

• Favorite Chick-fil-A Menu item: the perfect Combination of Chick-fil-A Unsweet Tea / Lemonade.

• Hidden Talent: Beat Boxing

• Favorite Cartoon: He-Man and the Masters of Universe from the mid 1980s

• Favorite Movies:  “Road to Morocco” This oldie but goodie is part the “Road to” movie collection starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby made in the late 1940s to early 1950s.  

• Favorite Musicians: Johnny Cash, U2, Jay Z (2000s)

• Favorite Toy as a kid: He-Man and the Masters of The Universe Castle Grayskull
